Crimson & Gold

Sarah Schmidt
Sarah Schmidt is a new member of the journalism staff for the Crimson and Gold. Aside from her writing interests, she also plays volleyball and lacrosse for her school and hopes to continue this until she graduates. She’s a sophomore this year and wants to become a big part of the Crimson and Gold magazine. Writing is one of her favorite activities and she’s hoping that journalism will help inspire her dream to one day become a writer. She’s also hoping that one summer during her high school years she can become more involved and possibly work at an internship to improve her writing skills, and learn more about being an independent student working at a real job doing something she loves. Although she enjoys writing, photography is another one of her passions and she’s hoping that she can incorporate this into her stories as her career as a journalist continues to grow.
